In February 1999, with a clear vision of providing innovative health and fitness solutions to active, fitness-conscious people, a talented, motivated team of fitness experts joined together to form Fitness Image Results, Inc (FIR). FIR catapulted to the forefront of the fitness industry and is now recognized as one of the leading health and fitness providers in the Washington, DC metropolitan area.

In 1998, we launched the highly acclaimed Boot Camp for Women Program and established this new genre of fitness programming throughout the greater Washington, DC metropolitan area. This wildly popular group training program catered exclusively to women seeking an alternative to one-on-one personal training and was embraced with immediate success. During that same year, Gold’s Gym International, Inc., contracted FIR to start providing personal training and fitness services to the members of their facilities. FIR helped hundreds of clients in seven of the largest Gold’s Gyms throughout Northern Virginia, Washington, DC, and Maryland up until the Spring of 2005. This partnership provided to FIR the opportunity to develop a unique platform for delivering its own personal training services within an established facility.

The year 2000 was a growth year for FIR, whereby we were able to provide a lot of opportunities to those wishing to be fitness professionals and so employing over 50 trainers and staff. The year 2000 also brought about the advent of additional programs, such as the low-impact Conditioning Camp for Women Program and the high energy Boot Camp for Men Program, along with a vast array of health and wellness solutions to local corporations through our Corporate Health and Fitness Services.

During 2001, and again in 2002, FIR began growing a number of new business initiatives, such as providing personal training services overseas to royalty and to a national soccer team. We also established a very successful relationship with Marriott International in 2002, whereby we utilized our facility management business model and not only managed three health clubs inside Marriott Hotels throughout Washington, DC, we also opened the Fitness Image Results’ Health Club inside one of the flagship Marriott hotels, the Marriott Wardman Park Hotel.

In 2003, FIR launched the Amphibious Boot Camp Program, which combines both water workouts and dryland workouts into a structured fitness regimen that is unlike anything in the Washington, DC area. FIR also began the development of an operational infrastructure and back-end architecture that would help us streamline and improve our customer service.

In 2005, FIR ended its relationship with Gold’s Gym International and set out to start providing what is now a vast network of In-Home Personal Training services. The Boot Camp Master Class also changed from a fee-for-service class to something we like to call “strategic philanthropy”. The Master Class became a catalyst for us to bring awareness to different charities and causes. The Boot Camp Master Class helps raise thousands of dollars for various charities each month every year as part of FIR’s community outreach initiatives. FIR also ramped up its community outreach by increasing its support to local communities, groups, and schools by donating fitness equipment and services. We also started our annual Blood Drive in 2005 as a continued effort to support the victims of the devastation that Hurricane Katrina brought to the Gulf Coast region of the United States.

The year 2006 became another milestone year for FIR. We launched our brand new website that allowed people to receive up-to-the-date information about fitness and health. FIR also strengthened its position as the leader in innovative health and fitness solutions and as a one-stop provider for everyone by beginning to sell running shoes and fitness apparel online as well as starting to offer a state-of-the-art Online Nutrition service


Two weeks ago I reached my 3 year mark with coach Jeff and his awesome boot camp! At the very beginning my wife and I started with a free class as a fun date night (wow were we in for a surprise!). It was way more intense than we anticipated, in a good way. After that day I was hooked. I've been working out in gyms my entire life, however I get bored with workouts pretty quickly and have always struggled to keep motivated coming up with my own routines. FIR Boot Camp has been a game changer for me. I'm not sure how he does it but coach Jeff is able to challenge me every single week. Yes the workouts are hard, it is a non-stop 55 minutes of pushing yourself to work as hard as possible. The hour flies by, and by the time your done you've completed a whole body workout that would normally take several hours in a standard gym. The group style workout is a big motivator for me. Everyone in the group feeds off of the adrenaline of the other participants, as well as the support of a team to keep pushing through. In my years working out in gyms I've managed to pull muscles either due to bad form, or lack of stretching. With boot camp I'm proud to say that this has not happened at all in these past 3 years, the warms ups and stretching at the start and finish of the class are crucial to the workout and I see that now. Yes there is muscle soreness after these, but only the good kind that you get from a really great workout! I look forward to Boot Camp each and every week. Thank you Coach Jeff!

Whether you're training to qualify for the Boston Marathon, or just starting out in fitness to lose weight, this program is fantastic. Jeff, the instructor, is a master at learning each person's goals and abilities and then translating that into a workout that gives you the results you're looking for, all the while doing in a group atmosphere that makes it fun. As an Iron Man Triathlete and Ultra-Marathoner, I have relied on programs like this to give me the cross-training and core strength needed to get to the next level, and this is one of the best. I highly recommend this program to anyone looking to improve their fitness and get healthy!

I wanted to take a moment to tell you how great Bootcamp has been. Bobby and Derek as well as Robin are such a great team!  They have been a tremendous help in getting me back to shape and feeling strong and healthy.  With 3 small kids all under 5- I need all the energy and strength I can get. I've had a wonderful experience and hope to continue through the next year!  My husband also joined in September and he is also loving it.

I am on an amazing journey and without Jeff Strahan and his boot camp I don’t know if it would be possible. This is the most amazing program you could ever experience. So different from the typical gym. I am far from the fit and athletic type but since I have started boot camp. I am strong, proud and so motivated. I watched Jeff and his campers running along the streets of Brambleton for two years and I was so afraid to ask them what they were doing. Finally I worked up the nerve and I have NEVER regretted it. I AM HOOKED! This is my second year and this has made me at 47 a better mom, wife and to challenge myself in ways I never thought possible. I am so grateful for boot camp and the amazing Jeff Strahan!

I joined Jeff 3-4 years ago and it's been a great journey with him and hopefully it will be for many more years to come. I was looking for a place for full body exercise to live healthy life and I luckily found Jeff through Livingsocial. So Livingsocial sometime gives you a long-term customers. I love outdoor running and it was a prefect match to join Jeff. My first day was tough even though I used to run and exercise before coming to Jeff. Jeff is very organized and every session is a surprise with him. He plans session very well and takes care of all parts of the body so you don't have injuries. Outdoor sessions sound crazy in winter but it works out fine except few days. I enjoy every session and I feel guilty when I miss a session. Jeff has created a great small family in which everyone is committed for healthy living.

Running is not the main focus of Jeff's session but I remember when I joined Jeff, I used to run 9:30 minutes a mile and now I can run 8 minutes a mile.

Jeff is the best coach. I also like his monthly contract/membership so you are not locked in a long-term contract.

I have been a member of Boot Camp in Brambleton for about a year and a half. It is the first workout program I have really enjoyed and stuck with long-term. Within the first couple months of starting Boot Camp, I noticed that my training for long distance races was becoming easier because of the strength training involved. Within four months of starting Boot Camp, I was in the best shape I had been in since high school. One thing I love about Boot Camp is Jeff's ability to adapt each workout to the level of fitness of each individual participant. Everyone in the class gets the best possible workout. Last year I found out I was pregnant and because of Jeff's ability to personalize each workout, I was able to continue Boot Camp during my entire pregnancy (up until 39 weeks). As a result, I was able to have a FIT pregnancy. Jeff is so passionate about health and fitness and is personally invested in the goals of his Boot Campers. It is because of his passion that I have become more motivated and fit.

After I had my third baby I tried to commit to going to the gym regularly and life just got in the way. I was hesitant to join any fitness class but after hearing so many people rave about Boot Camp with Fitness Image Results I decided to give it a try. The Instructor does a fantastic job of challenging each person to their potential. It’s a total body workout that you won’t want to ever miss. I could barely run a mile when I started one year ago and just completed my first half marathon. There is nothing else like this class, it beats any workout or class you could do at a gym.
