I specialize in cross training the endurance sports of the triathlon – swim, bike, run.

Training Philosophy:
“Physical activity is a big priority in my life because it makes me feel like a whole person. It’s very important to find an activity that you enjoy with friends so you will make it a part of your everyday lifestyle. I believe in challenging yourself so you will become a stronger person. Set realistic goals so you can achieve them with a little hard work.”

Personal Fitness Goals/Accomplishments:
“University of Michigan Womens Varsity Swim Team 1984-85 Budlight Triathlon Series 1989-92 Chesapeake Bay 4.4 mile Swim 1992-present (took two years off to have children) Marine Corps. Marathon 1994, 1995, 2001, 2006 New England Endurance Triathlon (ironman) 1995 Ironman Wisconsin 2006. In 2011, I am training for the Reston 2 mile swim, the Chesapeake 4.4 mile swim, and the Nation’s Triathlon.”
